Ever Feel Like Moses?
Moses to God:
…The load is far too heavy! If this is how you intend to treat me, just go ahead and kill me. Do me a favor and spare me this misery!

Ever felt that way? I know I have: when circumstances are out of control, when there’s no end in sight to abuse or injustice, when you can’t wrap your head around the mountain of whys. When the heaviness gets too much to bear, we all seek a way out. We want to know the nonsense and confusion will end. We want to know that real and solid answers lie within our grasp. And that’s what Moses experienced, too. His anguish tangled with reality—so much so that his voice reverberates across time. “I can’t handle any more stress. I’m beyond exhaustion. Please make it stop!”
Lord, we’re all tired from the craziness of this world. Like Moses, we’re worn out, depleted, ready for Home. Please help us feel Your peace and find safety in You. Give give us strength to lay it all down, today and every day. We love you. We trust you. In Jesus’ name, amen. ♥️
