March 3, 2021: Devotional Thoughts

“Your children didn’t see how the Lord cared for you in the wilderness until you arrived here.  But you have seen the Lord perform all these mighty deeds with your own eyes!” Deuteronomy 11:5, 7 NLT

This is profound.  I can hear the urgency in Moses’ voice.  Can’t you?  “You saw this for yourselves.  You have firsthand experience, witnessing the Lord Almighty at work. This is why it’s so important that you pass along what you beheld to your children, so they, too, will understand the importance of following God.”  God has given us great responsibility to forward Who He is to future generations.

“Look, today I am giving you the choice between a blessing and a curse! You will be blessed if you obey the commands of the Lord your God that I am giving you today. But you will be cursed if you reject the commands of the Lord your God and turn away from Him….” Deuteronomy 11:26-28 NLT

God is love.  Love always allows choice. ♥️
