Motivated Dirt

Sitting on a shelf in our master bathroom shower is a black bottle that states: “A daily cleanser that helps to remove dirt, oil and impurities.” My eye caught the M-O-V in “remove” and morphed the letters in to the word “motivated.” Motivated dirt. I like that idea, garbage that doesn’t like hanging around. I could use the dirt in my life being motivated enough to just get up and leave.” I laughed. In a moment of genuine longing, I expressed my heart’s desire to God. It sure would be nice to know how to make that happen. The stream of water over my head hit me in the face, kind of like a wake-up call. Prayer and Bible study. Quality time with Me. I smiled. Guess I already knew the answer. As if verifying the outcome of my thoughts, God directed my attention to additional advertising on the bottle which read: “3-in-1 Total Body Wash.” I chuckled. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. You definitely have a humerous and affective way of getting Your point across.
