God Qualifies the Called

Exodus 30-32

Ever felt untalented or not qualified enough to be used by God? Watching Gale Murphy rip up the piano yesterday with no sheet music in front of her, it would’ve been easy for me say, “God’s not impressed by my musical gifts.” Or, “Maybe I shouldn’t be singing, because I can’t hit high notes like Jennifer LaMountain.” But God doesn’t call the qualified. He qualifies the called—and that will look different for every person who takes up the call on his/her life.

Exodus 31:2-3 NLT shares God chose Bezalel then “filled him with the Spirit of God, giving him great wisdom, ability, and expertise in all kinds of crafts.“ Verse 6‬ ‭continues to explain God gave Bezalel and all gifted craftsmen special skills so they could “make all the things I have commanded [them] to make.“ In other words, God provides each of us with the ability we need to match our heavenly assignments. What does that look like for you?
