I love how author Clay Scroggins puts it. “When my heart is healthiest, God is doing the lifting.”
I’m not struggling for people to know my name. I’m not wrestling with insecurities of not being seen. I’m resting in the fact that my life is being used by God even in the mundane, maybe even more so in those inglorious moments. Because my achievements are not about me or anything I can do, but it’s everything about God and Him working in my life and through me, despite me. When I release myself from seeking accolades, I then give God permission to shine brightest. And, the neat thing is, sometimes He chooses to use me. That’s the genuinely amazing part!
