It Takes A Village

My mom and I had a conversation just yesterday, talking about the massive amount of Israelites recorded in the Bible. Numbers 3:39 NLT states, ”When Moses and Aaron counted the Levite clans at the Lord’s command, the total number was 22,000 males one month old or older.“ That only included the Levite clan! No wonder everyone had different jobs assigned to them. Example: God made the Merarite clans responsible “for the posts of the courtyard and all their bases, pegs, and ropes.“ Numbers‬ ‭3‬:‭37‬ ‭NLT‬‬ It had to be quite the process packing up and journeying across the wilderness whenever the cloud lifted from the temple and decided to move. Working together would have been a necessity.
