No Yeast

Leviticus 8-10

I find it interesting how many times the Bible speaks against yeast in bread. Leviticus 10:12 NLT says, ”Then Moses said to Aaron and his remaining sons,… ‘Make sure it contains no yeast, for it is most holy.’” Most holy. Why would God make this distinction? It’s yeast.

I don’t know the real answer, but maybe it has something to do with the fact that: “Yeast is a single-celled, living microorganism that is a member of the fungus kingdom.” – www.Rochester.edu

Fungus can “[spread] into tissue, bones, and organs, or [affect] the whole body.” – Mayo Clinic

“A few fungal species cause disease (e.g., infections, allergies) in man, and produce toxins that affect plants, animals and humans.” https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/

It’s a thought.
