Peace in the Land

Leviticus 26 & 27

”I will give you peace in the land, and you will be able to sleep with no cause for fear. I will rid the land of wild animals and keep your enemies out of your land.“ Leviticus‬ ‭26‬:‭6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

What a blessing! Peace. True peace. No one barging down your doors or threats of war. No looking over your shoulder wondering if someone is crouched behind a bush or lurking behind a corner. Being able to close your eyes at night knowing law enforcement isn’t going to come banging on your front door or wondering if heart disease will cause your last breath while you’re at rest. No living in constant fight or flight. Peace. I can think of no greater gift. Must have been a sneak peek of what Heaven will be like.
