Put Them Into Practice

Leviticus 19-21‬‬

Being lied about in a court of law, which then lead to no justice being served a few years ago, made me wonder if God truly cared about me and my family. If He did, I wouldn’t have had my rights violated or my name slandered, left to pick up the collateral damage, right?

It’s taken wrestling with God to finally get to this point, but I now believe God cares greatly. Leviticus‬ ‭19‬:‭12‬ ‭NLT‬‬ tells us swearing falsely brings shame on the name of God, which I know God is against. Verse 37 then says He expects us to act in accordance to His commands, to align our behavior with what is right. ”You must be careful to keep all of My decrees and regulations by putting them into practice….” Practice. That means doing, trying, being responsible. God sees. He’s aware. He will redeem the injustice we suffer.
