Worthy of My Calling
“Work with enthusiasm, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.” Ephesians 6:7 NLT
We can get so tangled up in all of life’s “stuff” that our focus becomes fixed on the “doing” rather than the Who and why we are doing it. If the struggle isn’t bad enough, we have the devil himself fighting against us, hoping we’ll fail at our attempt to keep our eyes riveted on Jesus. “For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12 NLT
Being worthy of my calling means daily surrender. My time. My family. My overall plans. Every nook and cranny of my life. It is then that the enthusiasm I have for sharing my Best Friend will flow naturally from an authentic place of connection, and others will have the opportunity to see Jesus working in my life.
