More Than One Person Needed

Deuteronomy 17-20

”But never put a person to death on the testimony of only one witness. There must always be two or three witnesses.“ Deuteronomy‬ ‭17‬:‭6‬ ‭NLT‬‬ I know this instruction is strictly about putting someone to death based on more than one person’s account, but there are other life-altering decisions that can have eternal ramifications that I believe a court of law needs to take into consideration, as well, based on more than one person’s so-called “truths.” When permanence is at stake, you can’t rely on just one person’s say so. But, sadly, that’s so common, and innocent people get hurt. 💔
