Miriam Webster defines murder as: “the crime of unlawfully and unjustifiably killing a person” or “to slaughter mercilessly: SLAY” or “to put an end to: DESTROY” or “TEASE, TORMENT” or “to spoil or ruin: BOTCH, MANGLE” or “to defeat badly.”

University of Minnesota breaks the criminal intent of murder into three parts: “intent to kill, intent to cause serious bodily injury, and depraved heart.”

James 3:5 speaks to how our words can cause great damage, shall I say even be the cause of murder?
