Respect & Honorable Measures

Deuteronomy 24-27

As a show of respect: “If you lend anything to your neighbor, do not enter his house to pick up the item he is giving as security. You must wait outside while he goes in and brings it out to you.” Deuteronomy‬ ‭24‬:‭10‬-‭11‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“All who cheat with dishonest weights and measures are detestable to the Lord your God.”

‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭25‬:‭16‬ ‭NLT‬‬ In all truth? This text and knowledge got me through a few disfavorable court results due to a verdict based on a judge believing lies. Nice this is, I don’t have to keep score, and there’s no need to get even. God knows. The other person will have to answer to Him.
