We Don’t Even Know Her Name
Judges 13-15
“In those days a man named Manoah from the tribe of Dan lived in the town of Zorah. His wife was unable to become pregnant, and they had no children.” Judges 13:2 NLT Isn’t it interesting this wife of Manoah becomes the mother of one of the most well-known characters in the Bible, and, yet, we don’t even know her name? Just goes to show your name doesn’t have to be celebrated or recognized by others for God to use you—even when your grown son acts like a complete child. “…Samson replied, ‘I only did to them what they did to me.’” Judges 15:11 NLT Really, Samson? That’s the best ya got? I don’t imagine that’s how your mother raised you.
