You Have Seen God’s Powerful Arm

Deuteronomy 11-13

It is brought to the Israelites’ attention that their children have not seen the mighty power of God like their parents have: ”Keep in mind that I am not talking now to your children, who have never experienced the discipline of the Lord your God or seen His greatness and His strong hand and powerful arm. But you have seen the Lord perform all these mighty deeds with your own eyes!“ Deuteronomy‬ ‭11‬:‭2‬, ‭7‬ ‭NLT‬‬ So, basically Moses is saying here, “You know what God is capable of and why you serve Him.” Then they’re reminded, “So be careful to obey all the commands I give you. You must not add anything to them or subtract anything from them.“ Deuteronomy‬ ‭12‬:‭32‬ ‭NLT‬‬ The reason this is so important is because nobody should put their rules and agendas above God’s. These are His boundaries for keeping His people safe.
