Do It Anyway

Not everyone you thought to be a kindred spirit will stay; love them anyway.

Not every act of kindness will be reciprocated or acknowledged; change the world with your smile and thoughtful deeds anyway.

Not everybody drowning in depression will appreciate your light or lifeline; shine hope out into the darkness anyway.

Don’t let fear build up barriers around your heart just because you might get hurt when love’s not matched or believed to be important.

Don’t let another person’s negativity keep you from being optimistic and sharing God’s love in tangible ways that can be felt with the heart.

Don’t dull your shine and become lesser than just because someone doesn’t appreciate what you bring to the table.

Be the positive change God needs you to be.

And when the devil tempts you not to trust God with the outcome, step out in faith, and do it anyway!
