One of a Kind, No One Like Him

2 Kings 18 & 19

“Hezekiah trusted in the Lord, the God of Israel. There was no one like him among all the kings of Judah, either before or after his time. He remained faithful to the Lord in everything, and he carefully obeyed all the commands the Lord had given Moses.” 2 Kings‬ ‭18‬:‭5‬-‭6‬ ‭NLT‬‬ I hope others can say the same of me when they look at my life: “There was no one like her. She remained faithful to the Lord in everything.” This is how I will know I have lived an authentic life, fulfilling God’s purpose for me. No cookie cutter life here. I want to be genuinely me. There’s only one me, just like there’s only one you.

I love what the Lord says about the king of Assyria: “His armies will not enter Jerusalem. They will not even shoot an arrow at it. They will not march outside its gates with their shields nor build banks of earth against its walls.” 2 Kings‬ ‭19‬:‭32‬ ‭NLT‬‬ God can turn any threatening situation into our victory through Him. We have nothing to fear!
