16,500 Gallons of Water
2 Chronicles 2-5
“The walls of the Sea were about three inches thick, and its rim flared out like a cup and resembled a water lily blossom. It could hold about 16,500 gallons of water.” 2 Chronicles 4:5 NLT Wow! 16,500 gallons of water sounded like a lot until I googled SeaWorld, known for its deep tanks with thick walls, and found out: “SeaWorld Orlando’s habitat is 36 feet deep and holds more than 6 million gallons!” However, the new tank installed in 2014, is almost twice the size of the previous orca tank, “with 10 million gallons of water and a…depth of 50 feet.”
