The Gift of Children

1 Chronicles 25-27

“…God had honored [Heman] with fourteen sons and three daughters.” 1 Chronicles‬ ‭25‬:‭5‬ ‭NLT‬‬ I believe it’s still an honor to be gifted with children in your life. But seventeen? My mind is having a hard time wrapping itself around the idea being pregnant that long. 🤪

Then there is this: “They and their families were all trained in making music before the Lord, and each of them—288 in all—was an accomplished musician. The musicians were appointed to their term of service by means of sacred lots, without regard to whether they were young or old, teacher or student.” 1 Chronicles‬ ‭25‬:‭7‬-‭8‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Imagine what our worship services would sound like today if we all had a term of service and were trained for serving.
