Only What God Says

2 Chronicles 18-20

“Then Jehoshaphat added, ‘But first let’s find out what the Lord says.’ But Micaiah replied, ‘As surely as the Lord lives, I will say only what my God says.’” 2 Chronicles‬ ‭18‬:‭4‬, ‭13‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Finally someone trying to get it right and acting with honor.

“Fear the Lord and judge with integrity, for the Lord our God does not tolerate perverted justice, partiality, or the taking of bribes.” 2 Chronicles‬ ‭19‬:‭7‬ ‭NLT‬‬ I have taken courage from this text for a long time, even before I knew it was in the Bible. It speaks to the heart of God.

Great advice: “…You must always act in the fear of the Lord, with faithfulness and an undivided heart.” 2 Chronicles‬ ‭19‬:‭9‬ ‭NLT‬‬
