God Protects the Innocent

Psalms 1-8
“Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers. But they delight in the law of the Lord, meditating on it day and night. They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do.” Psalms 1:1-3 NLT All have sinned and fallen short of His glory. But it’s Who we turn to and what we turn away from when we fall that matters.
“Serve the Lord with reverent fear, and rejoice with trembling.” Psalms 2:11 NLT
Because I know that God knows I’m continually trying to be like Him that, “In peace I will lie down and sleep, for You alone, O Lord, will keep me safe.” Psalms 4:8 NLT In His arms is a safe place to rest. “God is my shield, saving those whose hearts are true and right.” Psalms 7:10 NLT
“…the proud may not stand in Your presence, for You hate all who do evil. You will destroy those who tell lies. The Lord detests murderers and deceivers.” Psalms 5:5-6 NLT No need to seek revenge, God has me covered.
