A Light Will Shine

Isaiah 9-12

This is a great comfort for those walking with the weight of the world on their shoulders. It will not last forever: “Nevertheless, that time of darkness and despair will not go on forever. …The people who walk in darkness will see a great light. For those who live in a land of deep darkness, a light will shine.” Isaiah‬ ‭9‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“What sorrow awaits the unjust judges and those who issue unfair laws. They deprive the poor of justice and deny the rights of the needy among my people. They prey on widows and take advantage of orphans.” Isaiah‬ ‭10‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭NLT‬‬ If you know my story, you know how much hope these verses give me.

“In that day the Lord will end the bondage of His people. He will break the yoke of slavery and lift it from their shoulders.” Isaiah‬ ‭10‬:‭27‬ ‭NLT‬‬
