Corruption Affects Justice

Proverbs 19-21

“People ruin their lives by their own foolishness and then are angry at the Lord. A false witness will not go unpunished, nor will a liar escape. A corrupt witness makes a mockery of justice….” Proverbs‬ ‭19‬:‭3‬, ‭5‬, ‭28‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I love this verse: “You can make many plans, but the Lord’s purpose will prevail.” Proverbs‬ ‭19‬:‭21‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Amen! 🙌🏻🙌🏻

“Avoiding a fight is a mark of honor; only fools insist on quarreling.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭20‬:‭3‬ ‭NLT‬‬ I’m so relieved to no longer have to dodge fools insisting that fighting is the only way to communicate.

“The Lord’s light penetrates the human spirit, exposing every hidden motive.” Proverbs‬ ‭20‬:‭27‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“The Lord is more pleased when we do what is right and just than when we offer Him sacrifices.” Proverbs‬ ‭21‬:‭3‬ ‭NLT‬‬
