Mourning into Joy

Jeremiah 30 & 31

“I will give you back your health and heal your wounds,” says the Lord.” Jeremiah‬ ‭30‬:‭17‬ ‭NLT‬‬ I’ve had the opportunity to see this happen in current times.

“The young women will dance for joy, and the men—old and young—will join in the celebration. I will turn their mourning into joy. I will comfort them and exchange their sorrow for rejoicing.” Jeremiah‬ ‭31‬:‭13‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“But now this is what the Lord says: ‘Do not weep any longer, for I will reward you,’ says the Lord. ‘Your children will come back to you from the distant land of the enemy.’” Jeremiah‬ ‭31‬:‭16‬ ‭NLT‬‬ There’s nothing as rewarding as seeing your children come back.

“For I have given rest to the weary and joy to the sorrowing.” Jeremiah‬ ‭31‬:‭25‬ ‭NLT‬‬
