Obeying Tradition
Jeremiah 35-37
“The Recabites do not drink wine to this day because their ancestor Jehonadab told them not to. But I have spoken to you again and again, and you refuse to obey me.” Jeremiah 35:14 NLT Imagine the frustration. They’d listen to an ancestor they’d probably never met, instruction passed down from generation to generation, but they refused to listen to God in the present.
