Strong Arm of the Lord

Isaiah 59-63

“Listen! The Lord’s arm is not too weak to save you, nor is His ear too deaf to hear you call.” Isaiah‬ ‭59‬:‭1‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Hallelujah! Praise God got that!!

“He was amazed to see that no one intervened to help the oppressed. So He himself stepped in to save them with His strong arm, and His justice sustained him.” Isaiah‬ ‭59‬:‭16‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Can you imagine God, our heavenly Parent, looking down and seeing His children hurting like this and behaving this way? The thought is heartbreaking! 💔

“‘The Redeemer will come to Jerusalem to buy back those in Israel who have turned from their sins,’ says the Lord.” Isaiah‬ ‭59‬:‭20‬ ‭NLT‬‬ And He did this on the cross!

“No longer will you need the sun to shine by day, nor the moon to give its light by night, for the Lord your God will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory.” Isaiah‬ ‭60‬:‭19‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“The smallest family will become a thousand people, and the tiniest group will become a mighty nation. At the right time, I, the Lord, will make it happen.” Isaiah‬ ‭60‬:‭22‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“To all who mourn in Israel, He will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair….” Isaiah‬ ‭61‬:‭3‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“The Lord has sworn to Jerusalem by His own strength: ‘I will never again hand you over to your enemies….’” Isaiah‬ ‭62‬:‭8‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“In all their suffering He also suffered, and He personally rescued them. In His love and mercy He redeemed them. He lifted them up and carried them through all the years.” Isaiah‬ ‭63‬:‭9‬ ‭NLT‬‬
